Baltimore, MD—The Shelter Group officially announced that on
Tuesday, June 27, 2006 the on-site leasing office will open for the
90 apartments in Park View at South Pantops, located at 210 South
Pantops Drive in Charlottesville, Virginia. The community is expected
to be ready to receive its first residents September 1, 2006. Park
View at South Pantops is located on approximately 4.5 acres and is
the result of a collaboration between Shelter Development, LLC and
the Jefferson Area Board of Aging (JABA).
According to Susan Coiner Rooke, Property Manager for the community,
to be eligible for an apartment, one must be 62 years of age or older
with an annual income from all sources that does not exceed $28,020
for a single person and $32,040 for a couple. “There has been
tremendous interest in this community, and we urge anyone who is interested
in reserving an apartment to call as soon as possible to ensure that
they can choose their favorite floor plan and location within the
building,” said Rooke. Those who are interested in an apartment
can call 434-923-0200 to request an application.

cords, wiring for cable television and telephone, a tenant controlled
lobby entrance system, and individually controlled and metered utilities.

area, and laundry room. The community has its own van for transportation
to nearby shops and professional offices.
Park View at South Pantops is designed specifically for and restricted

and the social and recreational programming are all designed to
meet the lifestyle needs of seniors. Resident services will be provided
